General terms and conditions regarding price lists
- Prices are reviewed annually.
- Interpreting provided on the basis of legislation on services and assistance for disabled people is a service exempt from VAT.
- Education and training as well as expert lectures are service subject to VAT (VAT charged at 22%).
- Interpreting in pairs: possible use of two interpreters can be agreed with Via’s booking service. Demanding interpreting and interpreting assignments lasting more than 2 hours in one session are usually carried out by a pair of interpreters.
- The minimum charge for all hourly fees is 1 hour.
- Time spent is invoiced as full hours.
- For educational interpreting, lessons/hours are 45 minutes.
- Travel expenses are invoiced based on public transport prices or on the current tax authorities’ decision. In 2007, the compensation rate paid for use of one’s own car is €0.43/kilometre.
- In terms of daily allowances, the aforementioned tax authorities’ decision is also enforced.
Cancellation policy
Assignments lasting less than 5 working days
- cancellation at least 3 days before starting the assignment: 0% invoiced
- cancellation at least 24 hours before starting the assignment: 50% invoiced
- cancellation less than 24 hours before starting the assignment: 100% invoiced
Assignments lasting 5 working days or more
- cancellation at least 7 days before starting the assignment: 0% invoiced
- cancellation at least 3 days before starting the assignment: 50% invoiced
